An international exhibition of the most prestigious

This year again Nicolosi Creations participates in the COSMOPROF exhibition in Bologna, which for 50 years has been the international observatory for perfumes and cosmetics.

A true "must" for beauty professionals, this fair brings together thousands of exhibitors each year from more than 60 countries, mainly from Europe, but also from America, Asia and Oceania.

From March 15th to 18th, creators of beauty products will meet in this beautiful setting offered by the Italian city, a good opportunity to meet, exchange and promote its products through new partnerships between professionals.

But the COSMOPROF is also a unique opportunity to promote its products around the world indeed this event welcomes journalists from several specialized international journals.

Nicolosi exports the Provence

For this edition, our booth will honor Provence with the staging of a lavender field that will host our inimitable products.

The olfactory pyramid is the structure of a perfume, it is composed by three main groups : 

• Head notes
• Heart notes
• Base notes

The olfactory pyramid will allow during the creation process of the perfum to balance each of the components in order to harmonise the final result. The three different notes represent the three steps of the evolution of the perfume. The evaporation of the different aromas is progressive, longer or shorter, and more or less important depending on the note. The olfactory messages reveal themselves with time.

Since we produce perfumes with natural product, it is important for us to resort to an olfactory pyramid, because she will highlight and counterbalance each of the scent of the perfume.

Head note

It is the first note that we will smell after vaporization. It is volatile and fleeting, it gives the first impression on the perfume. It can fade from 30 minutes to 2 hours after vaporization.

Heart note

It is the distinctive feature of the perfume, it is voluptuous, and will deploy for many hours (from 2 to 4 hours after the evaporation of the head note). It constitute the olfactory signature of the perfume.

Base note

The base note is the one that will fix the perfume, and make it last in time, it evaporate slowly, sometimes during several days.

Hello Everyone! Today is the official launching of our new blog...

...which happens to be on a very joyous occcasion after receiving yesterday night the 2016 Workmanship Excellency award!

A lot of things happened these past two years as you may know if you follow us on Facebook or on Twitter; we opened a new boutique, after 2 years of research we also opened a new sound-&-light Lavender Museum, we created three new ranges of products, and we developped our distribution channel in new countries...

So you can probably imagine how ecstatic we where yesterday while receiving the award!

From now on we will try to give you news every Friday.
